Display Pens
We have something a little different planned for this years event. On September 15, 2011 from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm we will be opening the exhibit hall for FREE to the public. If you live any where near Norfolk, NE or know folks that do, even if you are not planning on coming to this years event, plan on coming for FREE to view genetics produced to efficiently gain on grass. Buying some of these cattle at private treaty or just buying straws will improve your herds ability to gain on grass. See some of the cattle that will be on display below.
If you are interested in registering for a display pen, please download this form and return it, along with a picture that represents your display cattle as soon as possible. If you are thinking about displaying cattle register today, we have two pen sizes for $300 for a 10 x 10 and $550 for a 10 x 20 which includes bedding.
We look forward to seeing all of you in September.
Here are the "rules" for the display pens for the upcoming event for those that are displaying cattle. You will need to bring your animals to the Ag Complex between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm on Sept. 15, the closure to 8 the better. You will need to bring hay, a water tub and bucket to water your cattle with. We will be opening the exhibit hall at 1:00 pm for FREE PUBLIC viewing until 6:00 pm; so tell everyone you know.
